A magnificent perennial delphinium from the world-famous series of New Zealand hybrids. It will become the pearl of the garden not only for amateurs, but also for collectors: imposing, lushly flowering plants have high decorative qualities, winter well, are unpretentious in care and very durable.
The plants are tall, more than 2 m, with strong healthy peduncles, but still need support. Unusually large flowers of a complex, as if iridescent, purple colour, are collected in a dense, literally packed inflorescence. The first flowering occurs in the second year after sowing, in June-July. Repeated - in August.
The bushes are powerful, with many strong peduncles 150-180 cm high. Double flowers 7-9 cm in diameter are collected in huge dense inflorescences-brushes.
It is used in flower beds, along walls and fences. It looks gorgeous in group plantings and as single plants. Excellent for cutting.
Agrotechnics.
It is advisable to keep the seeds in the refrigerator before sowing. Before sowing, it is recommended to treat the soil with a fungicide against pathogens. When sowing, the seeds are lightly sprinkled with soil. Germinate in the light at +21+25°C! After germination, the temperature is reduced. With the appearance of the first true leaves, the seedlings are planted in separate pots.
